Risk Assessment
Some hirers may be required to complete and return a risk assessment prior to their booking. This will be requested where necessary to help ensure the safety of all users of the Community Centre. This typically applies to regular groups, classes, or higher-risk activities.
If you are asked to provide a risk assessment, it should include:
-
Any potential hazards relating to your activity
-
Who may be affected (e.g. participants, visitors, staff)
-
The control measures you will put in place to minimise risk
While risks cannot be completely eliminated, it is important to minimise them wherever possible particularly where most vulnerable attendees may be present. We therefore ask that you take a moment to read and complete our suggested Risk Assessment where required.
