We are a small friendly group of women and men of mixed ability who attend this weekly class on a Wednesday evening to enjoy a good work out that is fun and makes us feel stronger, fitter, and more flexible. We also learn how to relax and let go of everyday life stresses. It is a precious time to put aside each week for yourself and you are given individual care and attention. You feel calm, refreshed and energised after each session.
Suzy manages all the bookings and her colleague Karuna White now mostly teaches the class, and Suzy teaches when Karuna is away. Both Karuna and Suzy have been Hatha/Iyengar teachers for over 22 years are committed to helping you with improving your posture and body alignment. We also haver particular skills in helping you overcome problems with neck, back and knees through appropriate yoga postures. You will get individual attention to ensure you hold the postures correctly and work at your own pace.
The class typically includes:
• Classical Iyengar style Hatha Yoga postures
• Breathing Techniques (Pranayama) to help calm and relax the mind
• Simple meditation practice to help mental focus and concentration
• Relaxation

£13.50 per class or £72 for a set 6 week block
